Dunny Semwayo currently serves as the Executive Director, Technical at Stanbic IBTC Insurance Limited. He was previously Chief Operations Officer, and Head of Insurance (Wealth Africa Regions) for Standard Bank Group Africa Regions. Prior to this appointment, he was the Executive Head, Actuarial Services and Product Development for PPS Insurance. 

Dunny Semwayo has vast experience in the life insurance, health insurance, and investments spaces. He also has experience in Financial Soundness Management of insurance companies, Solvency Assessment Management (Solvency II), embedded values, experience analysis, product development and pricing, business development, and strategic and operational support for insurance businesses. He is a Fellow of ASSA (Actuarial Society of South Africa) and of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries, a Chartered Enterprise Risk Actuary (CERA) and a CFA Charter holder. He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Degree in Actuarial Science.
